2016 Jewelry Making Classes' Schedule

Here is out new schedule of jewelry classes for the next few months.

Open Classes:
we teach you the skills as you create your own designed jewelry 

• Monday mornings, 9am - 12pm
• Tuesday evenings, 6pm - 9pm
• Thursday evenings, 6pm - 9pm
• Saturday mornings, 9am - 12pm 

Students will learn how to make earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else you want out of silver, gold and precious stones. 

ALL skill levels are invited to class.

You are welcome to come as little as once a month or as much as you want --- whatever your schedule dictates.

Workshop Classes: 
These are make-n-takes/DIY i.e. everyone makes what we have planned and we supply everything plus refreshments.

Copper Bracelet Class. Come and make a copper bracelet, complete with an inscription. We will provide the copper, all materials and tools. $15/person or $25/2 people. Save 10% if you pay in advance. Classes begin at 6:00. Refreshments will be served.

Silver band/ring class. Come and make a silver band ring--complete with an inscription inside. All materials and tools will be provided. $25/person or $40/for two people. Save 10% if you pay in advance. Refreshments will be served.

Girls' Night Out! Thin silver bracelets class. Come and make silver bracelets. All materials and tools will be provided. You choose how many you want to make. $20/1 bracelet, $20/2 bracelets, $50/3 bracelets. Save 10% if you pay in advance. Refreshments will be served.

We are not able to offer half price workshop classes at this time.

~ We are also able to give demonstrations and one day classes to schools, "girl's night out," church groups, birthday parties scouts, etc. We are happy to travel around Northern Utah. If you would like us to do something in another place, please let us know and we can see what the options are. ~

Summer Jewelry Making ~ Silversmithing classes

Starting Tuesday, June 9th, jewelry making ~ silversmithing classes will be held on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6-9 pm.

Classes are $25/3-hour class.  If you buy 4 classes in advance, we will give you the 5th class free, making the five average out to $20/class.

Most students bring some ideas of pieces of jewelry they would like to make and then we give instruction while the student creates the pieces.  Techniques include everything from melting metal to polishing the finished piece and everything in between: creating bezels, hammering, lost wax, chiseling, filing, soldering, piercing, repose and more.

One of the things we love to offer is our jewelry making / silversmithing classes.  René comes from a long line of silversmiths and loves to share his wealth of knowledge to others.  Here are some shots from class tonight:

Currently, classes are offered on Tuesday evening and Saturday mornings.  Beginning in May, we will offer classes two nights a week.  Click here for more information about our classes.
