Happy New Year

Well, it's just about the New Year!! Yipee!

And my sweetheart is back from an extended trip home.  While he was gone, I was going to add more photos of his new jewelry to our website, but he accidently took the wrong camera cord and I was unable to down load pictures.  Then I was in a car accident. I am ok, but our vehicle isn't.  But the ordeal set me back on the "to do list."

It's been busy month and I am anxious to start the new year with our family together.  Stay tune for some fun pictures of Colombia and new jewelry!

Another Treasury

I was thinking of Colombia tonight and all the fun things my husband has taught me about his homeland--- the art, the fun festivals, and Christmas Posadas.  So I put together this Colombian Treasury on Etsy. Please click here to see it!

Creativity

One of the things that amazes me about my sweetheart is his range of creativity.  I have just about next to no artsie creativity. I know I do other things well, but to create something---in my sweetheart's case: jewelry--- from an idea floating around in one's minde blows me away.

For example, the other night, I took our little one to the Dinosaur Park for the Halloween festivities.  Rene stayed home to teach his jewelry class.  When we returned, we went to the shop to show him what goodies we received.  There Rene was, sitting at his table working on something. I asked him what he was working on and he showed me his newest ring. While admiring it, he then showed me some earrings he had also made.
These were new designs he wanted to try out and while the house was quiet, he took advantage and *WaaLaa* his magical hands created these beautiful pieces.

Enjoy the photos --- shortly I will be posting them on Etsy to sell.

New Pictures

Well, I did it!! I figured out how to down load pictures from our new camera to the computer.  After struggling and agonizing, I resorted to reading the owner's manual.   Come to find out there was a CD you were to download to the computer first. Who knew?? Silly me.

I know, I know. I should have read it first.  But my thought was since our other camera was hooked up and we eaily downloaded pictures from that, we could easily plug in our new camera and *wink* pictures would be downloaded as easily.  Nope. It just didn't work that way.  We tried this and that and everything in between.  But nothing worked until we read the manual. Let this be a lesson to me and to you!! Read the manual!

And as a bonus, I learned some cool tricks I can do with my camera.  Fun!  Fun!

So.................I have been busy today uploading to our Etsy sight.

Please check out how it looks in our Etsy store by clicking on one of the pictures to the right.
