It is getting close to the end of the semester, which means it is time to host our exhibition.  Please join us if you can.

This past winter, Rene taught a jewelry class at Weber State University.  Below is a quick slide show of the jewelry exhibition held at the end of the class.

There was a booking conflict of events, so the class was bumped to down the hallway. But that's ok, we still had a great time.

It's that time of year again! It's the end of the semester and René's jewelry making students are getting ready to showcase what they have been working on all semester.

We are happy to announce that Rene will be teaching another metal smithing and jewelry making class at Weber State University Spring Semester.

Classes will start January 7th, 2013.

Jewelry Exhibition

My first attempt at creating a slide show.  It is of the jewelry class exhibition Rene just finished teaching at Weber State University in Ogden, Utah. There is no music, that will have to be the next project.
Anyway---- I hope you enjoy it.

New schedule

During the spring semester Rene will be teaching a jewelry/metal smithing class at Weber State University. Because of this, our jewelry making class schedule will be different in January.  And then in February, it will change slightly. (If you are intested in the university class, it is listed at ART 2350)

January's schedule:

Thursdays & Fridays 6pm -- 9pm

Saturdays 9am --12pm

February's schedule:

Tuesdays & Thursdays 6pm -- 9pm

Saturday mornings: tba

All classes are held at the Galleon's Gold Workshop on 12th St. in Ogden, Utah.

Come and learn how to make earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else you want out of silver, gold and precious stones.

All skill levels are invited to class.

You are welcome to come as little as once a month or as much as 3x a week --- whatever your schedule dictates.

First's night class is always FREE!

NOTE:  We are also able to give demonstrations and one day classes to schools, "girl's night out," church groups, scouts, etc. We are happy to travel around northern Utah and Carbon county in Utah. If you would like us to do something in another place, please let us know and we can see what the options are.

Jewelry Making Classes

We have some options for those of you interested in jewerly making classes--and wouldn't it be great to hand craft fine jewelry for your loved ones for the holidays??

** Rene will be teaching Small Metals/Jewlery Making (Art 2350) at Weber State University winter semester. Classes will be Mon and Wed evenings from 5pm -- 7:45pm

** Until the first of the year, Rene will be teaching jewelry making classes at our workshop Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays 6pm -- 9pm and  Saturdays by appointment
    

** After the new year, classes will be held on Tuesdays and Thursdays with a possibility for  Saturdays.

All skill levels are invited any of his classes.
