Upcoming 2-day workshop

Come join us for a fabulous 2 day workshop for intensive jewelry making workshop

Students will learn and make a silver ring, bracelet, earrings and pendant. Student will learn how to set a stone with bezels.

Class is $200--included tools and equipment. Students will need to bring their own ounce of silver and stones to beused in jewelry. Silver and stones will be available to purchase at class, if needed.
You can pay for the class in person at the store or on our website at www.localartisancollective.com/calendar then click on jewelry.

We will need a minimum of 4 students for the class. Max size: 6 students.

Class is taught by Rene Venegas, a 16th generation master silversmith. He was taught as a youth by his father and later took specialized classes. In addition to classes taught at The Local Artisan Collective, he teaches jewelry making and metal smithing at Weber State University.

We have classes just for you!

Currently, we offer two different types of classes: Open Classes -- you create your own designed jewelry and Workshop Classes -- these are make-n-takes i.e. everyone makes what we have planned.

Open Classes:

• Monday mornings from 9am - 12pm
• Tuesday evenings from 6pm - 9pm
• Thursday evenings from 6pm - 9pm (lapidary class)
• Saturday mornings 9am - 12pm (by appointment only)

Students will learn how to make earrings, necklaces, rings, bracelets and anything else you want out of silver, gold and precious stones. 

ALL skill levels are invited to class.

You are welcome to come as little as once a month or as much as you want --- whatever your schedule dictates.
